Highlands Preschool asks that you volunteer a minimum of 4 hours to the school. These efforts and other volunteer-based activities enable the Preschool to keep its tuition fees competitive while covering the operating costs of the school and paying for upgrades to play equipment, toys, books and other learning tools.
Your volunteer time is greatly appreciated. This time will not only give you some insight into the day-to-day operations of the school, it also helps to create a sense of community & build relationships not only for your children but for us adults as well.
This year we are making use of a great online tool called SignUp which allows us to coordinate our parent volunteers. By permitting everyone easy access to volunteer sign-up sheets for each activity or event, everyone can quickly choose jobs and shifts to fit their busy schedules, or can sign up to donate food items with just a few clicks.
Our Parent Liaison, Julie C., will be using SignUp to coordinate volunteers this year. She will be able to provide login information to parents who have offered to volunteer their time for activities or events throughout the year.
